Spirits
Our range of spirits is extensive, to say the least, carrying spirits from almost every conceivable corner of the world. Stocked from floor to ceiling in both our King Street and Victoria Brewery shops (and we have quite high ceilings) we have something for every occasion, taste and budget – whether you’re looking for classic or specialist malts, interesting flavoured gins or that one liqueur that you can’t find anywhere else.
Whisky
Given the choice, Joe, Andrew and Philip wouldn’t sell you any of their whisky, they’d lock the whole collection away – but our accountants won’t let them! The lads have been collecting whiskies all their lives and the vast selection they have amassed is testament to just that. Andrew and Joe in particular are hugely knowledgeable, we may be making them blush but there’s not much they don’t know about whisky.
Gin
How do you like your gin: flavoured, straight, dry or just plain weird? We have it all! How do you drink your gin: simply with tonic, straight over ice, in a cocktail? We can advise how to get the most fun out of our truly vast range of gins. We have all the big names, but are particularly proud of all the local suppliers we stock and the great working relationship we have with them.
Other spirits
We have an extensive range of brandies, vodkas, tequilas, rums spiced, aged or otherwise, or be a daredevil and try something you’ve never tasted before! Put your tastebuds to the test with our chilli vodka or dare each other to drink the worm in the mezcal, the world’s your oyster.
Liqueurs and the weird and wonderful
We love this section! What do you write about such a massive collection of ingredients for the best cocktails you’ll ever have? This is basically the Barnum and Bailey of the drinks world! You name it, we’ve got it. Revisit the multi-coloured gems of the 70s or maybe unleash your inner bohemian and spend an evening with the Green Fairy drinking Absinthe.

Acnoc 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Whisky 70cl

This light yet complex whisky is a must have in any whisky drinker’s collection. Golden amber in colour with a soft, aromatic nose with hints of honey and lemon. It’s gently sweet on the palate with an appetizing fruitiness leading to a long and smooth finish.
Speyburn Bourbon Cask Single Malt Whisky 70cl
SPEYSIDE, SCOTLAND

Gaelic for ‘Golden Salmon’, Bradan Orach is a classic, welcoming Speyside whisky, matured exclusively in American Oak ex-bourbon casks. This bright single malt was named in honour of the world-class salmon fishing found on the River Spey.
Bright golden amber in colour, the nose has aromas of green apples, honey, lemon and vanilla. The palate is creamy and smooth with a long spicy finish. This is energetic and appealing stuff!
The Ileach Islay Single Malt Whisky 70cl
ISLAY, SCOTLAND

Pronounced (Eee-luhk) this deliciously peaty young whisky is sourced from a secret Islay distillery and independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Company.
Strongly peaty on the nose, with subtle notes of oak and sea spray. The palate is smooth, with malt notes, yet more peat and a lovely spiciness. The Ileach is robustly peaty, with a maturity beyond its years.
GinBey Gin 70cl
BEKAA VALLEY, LEBANON

Distilled at Domaine des Tourelles winery in the heart of the Bekaa Valley, GinBey is the fruit of many years hard work and research by winemaker and Arak distiller, Faouzi Issa.
With his expertise as the producer of Lebanon’s leading brand of Arak, Faouzi Issa already has many years of distilling experience. For GinBey he uses a mix of 14 botanicals, from the traditional base of juniper and coriander seeds to other ingredients such as citrus, florals and spices which are all sourced from Lebanon.
This is a pure taste of the Med, with notes of juniper, coriander seeds and citrus peels.
Hankey Bannister Blended Whisky 70cl

Sweet, spicy and incredibly smooth, there is a reason this unashamedly unpeated blend has been a favourite since Hankey Bannister started producing whisky over 250 years ago.
Golden in colour, with a light aroma and a hint of spiciness which bring extra depth. It is a light, subtle blend on the palate, clean, sweet and spicy with honeyed tones and a long-lasting finish.
Batch Signature Gin 70cl

From Burnley based Batch Distillery, this, their signature gin, is distilled using 12 botanicals, with the most unusual being frankincense and myrrh. This is a bold and unique gin with flavours to match.
Cuckoo Signature Gin 70cl
LANCASHIRE, ENGLAND

Inspired by the local legend of the Brindle Cuckoo and handcrafted on their farm with fresh water from their own natural spring, Cuckoo Signature Gin is a proper London dry gin crafted in Chorley, Lancashire.
It has a smooth mouth feel to aid those who like to sip. After a slightly sweet, piney juniper start. The flavour then develops into citrus from orange, grapefruit and lemons. Also with a lingering taste of cinnamon spice and liquorice. Our Cuckoo Signature Gin is dry on the finish with a peppery kick from coriander seeds.
No Name Distillery Coffee Tequila 70cl

Made with hand selected coffee beans and infused with premium tequila Blanco, this super smooth coffee infused tequila from No Name Distillery is dangerously drinkable – makes for a fantastic twist on an espresso martini.
Tomatin Legacy Highland Single Malt Whisky 70cl
HIGHLANDS, SCOTLAND

Matured in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Virgin Oak casks, this delicious single malt has a light sweetness, with aromas of vanilla bean, white chocolate and cinnamon. On the palate there are gentle waves of fresh fruit peppered with ginger which leads to a light, clean finish. This is an excellent value and incredibly easy drinking style of malt.
